Course objectives
The main objective of the course is to gain theoretical knowledge of supervision as part of social work and as means to systematic growth in professional competencies as well. The training of some of the supervising skills and self-reflection and reflection on the practice are included.
Learning outcomes
In the end of the course students should be able to define various theoretical approaches in supervision; to design relevant type of supervision for the specific practice settings; to describe relevant examples of good practice; to be able to set up contract on supervision and to be able to develop sensitivity concerning dilemmas and problems that arise during supervision.
