Course objectives
At the end of the course the students should be able - to understand the processes which are going on in organizations - to design and implement the public programmes more effectively - to reflect on and to perform effectively their managerial roles in their professions in organisations.
Learning outcomes
The student gain the abilities and skills: - to describe and analyse organisational structures and other elements/aspects of organisations - to describe and analyse the processes in organisations - to describe and analyse managerial processes and role of managers - to apply their knowledge to elaborating and implementing the programmes of social interventions in organisations - to be oriented in managerial roles and able to perform them in future
Syllabus
  • Organization and organizational system. Theory of bureaucracy. Approaches and understandings of organization in theory of management Organizational structures. Centralization and decentralization. Organizational culture. Typology of organizational cultures, dynamics of OC. Objectives and resources of organization, capacity to achieve objectives. The modes of management in organizations. New public management a Governance. Management and leadership, guidance. Inter-organizational coordination and cooperation. Example of partnership. MBO,MQ, Benchmarking. The role of manager. Processes of management, decision making, communication. Impacts of communication on decision making.
