Course objectives
The aim of the course is to provide students with knowledge in the field of human resource management, which is an essential part of the complex process of managing an organization and to introduce and master the basic methods of analysis and planning in the field of human resources. Particular emphasis is placed on clarifying the links between strategy, organisation and human resource management as a complex indivisible whole in which the individual elements condition and influence each other. The mastery of the initial prerequisites of human resource management, which are human resource planning and personnel analysis, is the basic starting point for a systems approach in human resource management.
Learning outcomes
Upon completion of the course, the student will be able to: - Identify, summarize and critically reflect on basic knowledge of human resource management approaches and processes in organizations in the private and public sectors; - apply the acquired knowledge and formulate human resource management strategies and personnel plans to address specific problem situations in the field of human resource management and development in selected organizations

  • 1. Introduction to personnel analysis and planning. 2. Strategic management of human resources in the organization. 3. Tools of external strategic analysis. 4. Internal strategic analysis tools. 5. SWOT analysis as an integrating analytical tool. 6. Personnel planning and analysis in the organization. 7. Analysis of labour demand and supply in the organisation. 8. Analysis in recruitment and selection. 9. Analysis of motivation system. Remuneration and job evaluation. 10.Analysis of diversity. 11.Analysis of the quality of human resources and training system. 12.Creation of plans, planning of human resources development. 13.Presentation of projects.
