Course objectives
The course primarily deals with the basics of photojournalism and photojournalistic practices. The student will gain knowledge of the theory of photography, ethics, but mainly skills of photojournalist. The complexity of the course is based on the requirements of the application sphere, as elaborated in the market analysis.
Learning outcomes
Students acquires knowledge of the theory of photography. Students will have the knowledge of the use of photography in various media, in relation to layout of printed or online media. Students will get acquainted with the basics of photo-editing practice, learn not only how to tag photography in terms of metatags, key words, but also the descriptions of the photos themselves. Students will get the necessary information about ethics in photography either in relation to the displayed facts or as the role of the photojournalist himself. At the same time, students will acquire knowledge of the rights of the photojournalist, while making reportage pictures.

Technical quality of the picture. 7. Portrait. 8. How not to suffocate in the image smog. 9. Reportage 1. 10. Reportage 2. 11. Use of pictures in media. 12. Document. 13. Basic photo editing. 14. Final colloquium.
