Course objectives

It assumes familiarity with working with a camera or a mobile camera. Emphasis will be placed on the selection of appropriate expressive means, approach to the subject, and creativity. The goal is to critically reflect on the current position and form of Czech and world photojournalism and future opportunities or risks in the form of artificial intelligence. Participants will fulfill and discuss ongoing assignments based on the subject outline. The final output of the course will be a series of photographs that meet the criteria of one of the main categories of the Czech Press Photo competition. The vision is to publicly exhibit the resulting photographs.
