Prerequisites
The student should master the basic knowledge of working with audio-visual material: types of shots, basics of editing and have at least a user overview of the functions of social networks (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram).
For practical completion of the course, it is advisable to have a smartphone capable of recording video. For full use, it is also recommended to install the mobile applications specified in the detailed syllabus before the start of the course.

Course objectives
The aim of the course is to familiarize students with the basic principles and procedures of mobile journalism (MoJo), which can be applied both in news and in other sectors of video production. The course is designed very practically and includes procedures for shooting and editing videos on a mobile phone, the basics of live mobile broadcasting and other uses of mobile devices for social networks. Part of the teaching will also take place outside the university, "in the field".
The lecturer of the course is Ondřej Schneider, a long-time editor, video journalist and mobile journalist of the Czech Television. Currently news editor, leading editor of social networks and mobile journalism lecturer at CT Brno news.
Learning outcomes
After completing the course, students will be able to control the filming and editing of video and sound on mobile devices, apply them in the creation of complex audiovisual reports or create content for social networks (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram).

Teaching methods
Presentation of specific examples and skills, practical exercises, independent tasks and discussions.
Assessment methods
The course is designed as a seminar and the teaching is based on practical exercises. The condition for completing the course is participation in seminars and completion of assigned partial tasks.
