The prerequisite for enrolling in the course is basic technical competence, the learner must have basic experience with shooting sound, video and editing.

Course objectives
Students will deepen the technical skills associated with the complexity of video production; learn to recognize the division of labor and the content of professions associated with video production; learn the basic conceptual and technological apparatus (so that they can eventually be the ones who lead a similar team; or have a basis for independent work). As a prerequisite for enrolment in the course, students must have basic technical competences and experience in sound, video and editing. The course is also suitable for those who have only marginally studied audiovisual production in their undergraduate studies, as long as they have at least mastered the technical basics of the process. The course is delivered in the form of structured consultations with expert teachers.
Learning outcomes
Upon completion of the course, students will be able to:
- adequately use professional terminology and professional jargon
- understand the division of labour in the audiovisual process
- understand the specific differences in the expertise of each stage of the process
- have enhanced technical and creative skills in their chosen field of expertise
Syllabus
  • The students will gradually complete four modules in which they will prepare an independent exercise (author's report 3-5 min. without contact sound):

    1. Audio - recording, cleaning, editing and mixing of sound; output: sound montage (4 weeks)
  • . 2. Camera - shot composition, lighting, possibly storyboard (shot); output: sequence shot sequence (4 weeks)
  • 3. Editing and post-production- editing of material from previous modules, deployment of movements, issues transition, rhythm, principles of editing, dramaturgy of the whole; video finalization, formats, post-production (aftereffects), if needed subtitles (English), distribution (internet) (4 weeks)
  • 6. Terminology test (on-line) (last week of the semester)
