Course objectives
1. Introduction
Territory of the State. Geographical position of the Czech Republic. Basic Cartometric Data.
2. Structure and Relief.
Morphostructural Features of the Bohemian Highlands and the Carpathians. Basic Features of the Relief of the Bohemian Highlands and the Carpathians. Development of Relief Features. Geomorphological Regions.
3. The Hydrology
Fundamental data of hzdrography in the Czech Republic. Surface Water. Drainage System. Hydrological regime of Rivers. Lakes, Damlakes, Fishponds. Groundwaters and Springs. Natural Groundwaters. Mineral Waters and Pelloids.
