Course objectives
Preparation of solutions used in molecular biology. Isolation spontaneous mutants of Staphylococcus aureus resistant to streptomycine. One step growth curve of bacteriophage. Fluctuation test. Replica-plating of colonies a plaques. Isolation of plasmid DNA; Determination purity and concentration of DNA; Digestion of DNA by restriction endonucleases; Horizontal slab gel electrophoresis of DNA in agarose gels; Cultivation of eucaryotic cell cultures. Cytocentrifugation of influenced eucaryotic cells; Isolation of proteins; SDS-page methods.
