Syllabus
  • Embryology, lectures 2 hour weekly, exam., 2 cr. Regenerative abilities in animals. Reproduction: cell reproduction the basic for the growth and development of organisms. Asexual reproduction of Protozoa and Animalia. Sexual reproduction and differences, gametogenesis, fecondation and fertilisation. Alternating reproductive cycles. Ontogenesis - embryonic, postembryonic direct and indirect development. Growth of organisms, equal and unequal growth, tumours. Transplantation, ageing and death, Special part: The comparative embryology of main animal taxons.
