Syllabus
  • Methods for determination of nutrient availability in soil. Sampling, preparation and analysis of soil samples. Methods which "integrate" the nutrient availability over longer time period. Water relations in soil and methods for its investigation. Planing, conducting and evaluation of experiments focused on a plant mineral nutrition. Different types of plant cultivation, experimental factors. Preparation of cultivation media. Various methods for measurement of plant nutrient uptake rate in the laboratory and in the field. Measurement of the specific uptake rate of nitrogen by using the "depletion method".
