Syllabus
  • Field measurement of abiotic factors: radiation and temperature sensors, air and soil humidity. Data loggers, data processing. Field gasometric measurements od photosynthesis and respiration. Fluorometric measurement of photoinhibition processes in leaves. Psychrometric estimation of water potential in plants and soil. Estimation of critical temperatures for heat stress iniciation. Measurement of stomatal responses to water deficit in leaves. Structural and functional characteristics of C4 and CAM plants. Responses of plants to ions of heavy metals in environment. Stuctural and functional characteristics of lichen symbiosis.
