Syllabus
  • Epidemiological classification of parasitoses, transmission parasitic agents, ecologivcal and socioeconomic factors of parasite transmission, effect of human society and urbanisation, case studies: (Toxoplasma, Entamoeba, Cryptosporidium, Taenia, Echinococcus, Acsaris, Toxocara, Enterobius, Trichuris, Trichinella), percutaneous infections (Schistosoma, dermatitis, Ancylostoma, Strongyloides) vector biology and parasite transmission (Plasmodium, filariosis) and causative agents of opportunistic diseases of immunodeficient patients, (microsporidiosis, Pneumocystis), emerging diseases.
