- Výstupy z učení
- The students will be familiar with microbial C1 fixation mechanisms, pathways and with anaerobic metabolisms and physiologies. The students will know the role and importance of Archaea and Bacteria with respect to ecology and biotechnology. The students will get a specific overview of Archaea Biology, and they receive up to date information of current topics in Archaea research. A particular emphasis will be given to biohydrogen producing archaea and methanogenic archaea as well as their and intriguing energy conservation mechanisms. In addition, selected anaerobic cultivation and bioprocessing techniques as well as modern experimental design techniques will be presented.
