- Course objectives
- Additional and extension course to basic hydrobiology. At the end of this course, students should be able to: understand and be able to explain news, hypotheses and theories in ecology of river systems.

- Theory of colonization cycyle and mechanisms of permanent proceses in running waters, theory of river continuum and diskontinuum, principles of ecological evaluation of rivers,recovery of river continuum and floodplains
