Course objectives
Within the course, students take a thematic tour of sites associated with archaeologic, anthropologic and anthropogenetic research, supplemented by expert commentary.

Teacher's information
The excursion takes place either to a foreign location or around the Czech Republic.

Since an one-week excursion to Italy was organized in 2022, the excursion in 2023 will only be a one-day excursion although also abroad.

In 2023, the excursion will head to the reconstructed Roman city and camp of Carnuntum in Austria. The excursion will be a one-day excursion.

The season at Carnuntum begins on March 18, 2023. Around this time, enrolled students will receive initial instructions via email and we will arrange a date for the trip.

The field trip will take place on 4/18/2023. It will depart from the Bohunice Campus. Participants will be informed of the details of the excursion by mass email.
