- Information about the course of the course Bi8670 Principles of Plant Biotechnology (Spring 2024) Dear Students, You have registered for Bi8670. Which will be taught in the spring semester of 2024 at the Faculty of Science MU Brno. Considering the fact that I am returning from an expedition around the last week of March, the start of the course will be adjusted as follows: In the period of the first to the sixth weeks of the spring semester you will be given 2 lectures, which are guaranteed by Assoc. M. Šámalová and mgr. M.M. Šámalová, M.M. Šámalová and M.M. Hana Cempírková. It is not yet clear how the Bi8670 course will be scheduled (i.e. ´day of the week´ and ´time´. Therefore, please get in touch with both lecturers by e-mail (marketa.samalova@sci.muni.cz, hana.cempirkova@gmail.com ) during the first week of the spring semester and they will let you know the week in which their lectures will be delivered. The rest of the lectures will be given from the 7th to the 12th Week of the semester. I will contact you upon my arrival to discuss the format. There are several options: lectures will be given in the normal, i.e. scheduled, mode. Some of the lectures will then be delivered in agreement with you either at the end of the semester in a block or on alternative dates (weeks 7-12) outside the normal schedule. If you would like to ask any questions, especially about the organization of teaching immediately after my return from Antarctica, please contact my colleague Assoc. J. Hajek (jhajek@sci.muni.cz), who will contact me despite the long distance between the continents and then forward you my answer. In Brno, 19.12.2023 Yours sincerely,
