Course objectives
Students will be taught to present results from their own scientific research in an understandable, correct and effective way. Attention will be paid to the structure of scientific papers, to the basics of scientific writing in Czech, to literature citations, to the compilation of abstracts in Czech and possibly English.
Learning outcomes
At the end of this course, students will be able:
- to understand the structure of scientific papers and bachelor or diploma theses;
- to formulate their ideas in an understandable way;
- to avoid the worst mistakes in Czech scientific writing;
- to compile a correct list of references;
- to prepare an abstract or summary in Czech or English;
