Course objectives
The practical course accompanies the lecture Mechanisms of cell death, significance, methods. Within the two six-hour-blocks students will have an opportunity to practically learn and perform several selected basic modern methods of apoptosis detection using microscopy and flow cytometry. They will be provided with information how to evaluate the results obtained, interprete the data, and get practical recommendations about the application of individual methods, their advantages, disadvantages, and limits.
