Course objectives
At the end of the course students should be able to: understand and explain basic methods in immunology; use data about these methods in praxis; make reasoned decisions about the method ELISA; interpret its practical knowledge in labs; understand and explain the basic immunological technics; work with information on important current immunological methods used in immunological labs and in research;
Syllabus
  • The practice proceeds in the form of individual parts of methods that are solved: 1. putting of antigen on the surface of microtitration plates and their preparation for ELISA test
  • 2. testing on the presence of antibodies against chosen pathogen in serum
  • 3. Test for the detection of lymfocyte activity
  • 4. Imunochromatografical tests - test for the detection of the presence of HIV, RSV antibodies in sera
  • 5. Test of indirect aglutination. Presence of erytrhrocytes Ag in saliva
  • 6. Imunocytology - invertebrate immunology, immune cells of insects
