Course objectives
The main objectives of the course are the following: through discussions about interesing scienific papers in the field of botany, acquainting students with some recent directions of botanical research; showing the ways how botanists treat scientific issues; presenting some hints for different kinds of scientific communication (papers, posters, oral presentations); supporting the ability of critical thinking about scientific issues; learning how to formulate ideas in a way that is usual in scientific community; trying to show the botany as a scientific field with peculiar rules.
