- At the end of the course students should be able to understand and explain basic experimental methods of physical chemistry, with a focus on equilibrium, electrochemistry, calorimetry and kinetics.

- Exercise list: Determination of molar weight of naphthalene; Potentiometric measurement of acid constant; Viscosities of solutions of polymers; Measurement of reaction heat; Thermodynamics of Galvanic cell; Heat of fusion measurement; Ethanol- water phase diagram assessment; Dissociation constant determination of acid-base indicator; Refraction and permittivity of liquids; Sacharose decomposition in acid solution; Photometric study of reaction kinetics; Absorption isotherm determination in water- carbon powder – methylene blue system; Ethylacetate decomposition; Concentration dependence of molar conductivity of weak and hard electrolytes; Ion selective electrode; Determination of ion transport number; Activity coefficient determination of HCl; Tenside surfactants detergents; Diffusion coefficient evaluation of ammonia in membrane; Temperature dependency of oxygen concentration in water
