Course objectives
At the end of the course students should be able to evaluate and optimize analytical methods.
Syllabus
  • 1. Chemical analysis. 2. Analytical system. 3. Analytical signal. 4. Basic concepts of analytical metrology of the signal and the output. 5. Analytical method. 6. Practical use of the metrological characteristics by the presentation of the analytical outputs. 7. Metrological properties of the analytical method and the analytical system. 8. Development of the analytical method. 9. Reference materials in analytical chemistry. 10. Uncertainties. 11. Quality control and accreditation of the laboratory. 12. Validation

Teaching methods
Type of education: lectures, class discussion, the practical exercises are solved on PC
Assessment methods
Type of exam: written and oral exam, individual work. 70% of correct answers is needed to pass.
