The course is offered to students of any study field.
Course objectives
The main objective of the course is to learn and discuss the basic operational processes in facilities representing traditional and modern biotechnology.
Learning outcomes
Students will gain basic experience with operational processes in facilities representing traditional and modern biotechnology.
Syllabus
Field trips to a brewery representing traditional biotechnology, a wastewater treatment plant, a hydroponic farm, and a pharmaceutical company representing modern biotechnology.
