Course objectives
Ways and reasons of environmental pollution, contemporaneous trends and problems for the analytical examination of environment, evaluation of modern method for the preconcentration, separation and determination of inorganic and organic pollutants in air, flying ashes, waters, sediments, soils and food. Determination of various residuals in environmental samples and food, i.e. pesticides, chlorinated biphenyls, dioxines, polycyclic hydrocarbons, mycotoxines, nitrosamines and isocyanates. Special role of sampling, sample preparation and decomposition and selected separation procedures (chromatographic methods and electromigration, solid phase and supercritical fluid extractions on various sorbents) are emphasized. Details for optical, electroanalytical, nuclear methods and immunoassay and principles of most effective sensors are given.
