Course Enrolment Limitations
The course is offered to students of any study field.
Course objectives
Common methods of data processing and astronomical observations are learned. Students will have ability to process common astronomical data (acquired by both optical telescopes and spacecrafs) including their intrepretation.
Syllabus
  • Advanced methods (color diagram, basic characteristics of open cluster, profiles of galaxies, processing of space observations, light curve of variable star, exoplanet or asteroid).

Teaching methods
Laboratory exercises. Homeworks.
Assessment methods
Processed data with results and their interpretation as homeworks are assessmented. The final assessment is taken view on quality of reports and deadlines.
