Course objectives
During each three weeks of the term, students are introduced with a project of their own choice, design the experimental setup, and finally measure the required data. The outcome of each project is the set of data, which are analysed consequently.

Using laboratory practice in small groups, the main objective of the course is to teach the students how to
- apply the theoretical knowledge of physics in a particular experiment of an own choice
- design and assemble an individual experimental setup for a study of a given phenomenon
- analyse the obtained experimental results and compare them to the theoretical knowledge-base
