Course objectives
The course subjects to didactical analysis themes of teaching astronomy at secondary schools. Main objectives can be summarized as follows: to inform students about present situation of textbooks, teaching materials, tools; to understand the basic ideas of modern astronomy; to acquire on selected examples physical substance of cosmical bodies and astronomical phenomena; to inform students about new trends in teaching astronomy at countries in middle Europe

  • 1.Specificity of a teaching in astronomy (relations among astronomy, physics, mathematics, chemistry and philosophy)
  • 2.Pedagogic and psychologic aspects of the teaching (how to develop the thought and the creative abilities of the students)
