Course objectives
Structure of matter, building blocks hierarchy, particles, atoms molecules, bodies, iteractions, bonds, the response of matter to external action, response and causality, linear response, material characteristics and their microscopic interpretation. Periodicity of a process and its mathematical description, periodic solutions of equations of motion, oscillations, waves, the principle of superposition, the wave equation, the concept of wave in classical and quantum physics. Solution of physical problems. Qualitative and quantitative description, estimation,model, adequacy, theory, competency, calculations, approximate methods, perturbation methods, variation method.
