Course objectives
The goal of this subject is to complete basic methods from plasma diagnostics with their detail knowledge as well as to deal with special and perspective methods such as:
Local thermodynamical equilibrium, plasma models
Intensity of spectral lines and applications in basic diagnostics
Molecular spectra
Rotational and vibrational temperature, measurement of electron temperature and electron number density from continuum
Estimation of plasma parameters from spectral line profiles
Spectral line broadening
Microwave diagnostics
Corpuscular diagnostics I
Corpuscular diagnostics II
Langmuir probes
LIF, TALIF
Titration
Thomson and Rayleigh scattering
