Course objectives
The aim of the course is to teach the student how to evaluate field data, compile a geological map and all derived maps in electronic form and compile the final mapping report.
Learning outcomes
The student will know how to evaluate field data, compile a geological map and all derived maps in electronic form and will be able to compile the final map report.

  • Fundamentals of work in GIS environment.
  • Creating Legends in GIS Environment.
  • Digitizing the map.
  • Create derived maps.
  • Complete the final report.
