Course objectives
Geological hazards I. Crustal movements (the earthquakes, the landslides). Geological hazards II. Volcanoes, weathering and erosion, desertification, floods and tsunamis. Geological hazards III. Affects of the minerals and rocks, physical fields and geochemical factors on the man. The use of lithosphere I. Recources of lithosphere (soils, waters, energetic and row materials). The use of lithosphere II. (waste disposal, undergroud deponien and safety confinement, engineering geology). Antropogenic geological processes I. Affects of the human activity on geophysical, geodynamic and geochemical fields. Antropogenic geological processes II. Antropogenic minerals and rocks. Protection of the lithosphere I.
