Course objectives
The course is devoted predominantly to those students of magisterial study of the program Geology who intend to graduate in a subject of paleontology.It follows the main goal to present the general and special questions of paleoecology and the methods of taphonomical research on the advanced university level.

Teaching methods
The course consists of theoretical lectures and practical excercises. Each student presents 1 selected paleoecological theme. Besides, the students solve paleoecological interpretations based on concrete samples.
Assessment methods
Ending of the course: Oral exam verifying general knowledge of theoretical palaeoecological topics, and ability of their practical application.
