Course objectives
The implementation of the TAC is mandatory for all PhD candidates enrolled in a PhD Program Geology in 2022 or later. Students who started their studies before 2022 will continue in the current system of quality assessment (Annual reports). Every PhD candidate who applies to the obligation to TAC (enrolled in 2022 or later) must be supervised and mentored during their studies by 3 TAC members at least. The members are selected by the PhD candidate, in consultation with their supervisor.
Learning outcomes
The TAC should convene at least three times during the PhD candidate's career. All scheduled meetings are mandatory and must take place in predefined periods. It is the PhD candidate's responsibility to invite the TAC members, arrange TAC meetings, and submit the signed TAC Assessment Reports in the "Homework Vaults" section in Study Materials. The course S5013 must be registered in the semester in which the TAC meeting takes place and the fully completed and signed report must be submitted by the end of the exam period of the given semester!
