The course is offered to students of any study field.
Course objectives
At the end of the course students shoud be able to understand and explain processes of interaction of laser radiation with matter, processes in laser induced plasma and its analytical properties. Students will be familiar with analytical applications of laser induced breakdown spectroscopy for various types of materials.

  • Plasma, laser, interakction of radiation with matter, excitation, emission, absorption, spectral instrument, detectors, analytical signal, matrix effect, precision, trueness, instrumentation, movable instrumentation, analysis of materials.
