Course objectives
Matrix population models represent one of basic theoretical tools for population ecology and demography. Course schould provide basic information on construction, analysis and interpretation of them.

  • 3. Steady states, their existence and stability. Perron-Frobenius theorem
  • 4. Parameter estimation
  • 5. Density-dependent models
  • 6. Two-sex models
