Course objectives
Summary of basic features of the classical algebraic geometry is presented. Main objective is to understand the basic notions of algebraic geometry.

  • Closed subsets in affine spaces
  • Closed subsets in projective spaces
  • Local properties of algebraic varieties
  • Plane algebraic curves and varieties of codimension one
