Course objectives
At the end of the course students should be ready to teach all high-school's mathematical topics; to teach high-school mathematics practically.
Syllabus
  • Preparation of students for teaching standard topics of high-school math: Complex numbers, Equations and inequalities, Functions and their graphs, Planar and Solid Geometry, Vector algebra, Analytic geometry of linear and quadratic set points, Sequences and Series, Basic notions of probability theory and statistics and their applications, Combinatorics and graph theory, Foundations of Infinitesimal Calculus.

Teaching methods
Lectures with seminars supported by reading textbooks.
Assessment methods
Exam: written and oral. Written test consists of 4 problems from high-school math of "all-embracing" character, with a given point evaluation. 50% of the total number of points is needed to pass.
