Course objectives
At the end of this course, students should be able to: be well versed in the czech educational system; arrange lecture; teach enjoyably and with good idea; choose right teaching aids, choose and use math programmes, make up the worksheet, math game.
Syllabus
  • 1. Curriculum of the mathematics on the secondary school.
  • 2. The Czech educational system.
  • 3. The framework educational programme and the school educational programme.
  • 4. Didactics of mathematics (object-teaching, scientific teaching).
  • 5. Schoolbooks.
  • 6. Projectic teaching. Play in the school. Worksheets.
  • 7. Math programmes (Cabri, Derive, Maple, Graphmatica, Geogebra, Geonext, etc).
  • 8. Lesson-preparation.
  • 9. Aids to teaching of mathematics.
  • 10. Knowledge mapping.
  • 11. E-learning.
  • 12. Visiting in the secondary school.

Teaching methods
A seminary with two hours a week. A seminary is compounded from lecture, presentations by professionals in the sectors and class discussion.
Assessment methods
Examination is via credit. Student has to make the semester paper for obtaining of credit. Active participation at seminars is necessary.
