Course objectives
The aim of this course is to prepare students for the teaching of the optional educational activity Geography Seminar at secondary schools. It also includes other activities necessary to equip a Geography teacher - the management of Geography collections, management of a subject department, preparation and management of Geography fieldwork, preparation and organization of the school round of the Geography Olympiad.
Learning outcomes
Student will be able to: - select appropriate topics and compile a thematic plan for teaching optional educational activity Geography Seminar at secondary schools - use different methods in teaching more complex topics - set, guide and assess the seminar paper - prepare and guide fieldwork lessons - organize and prepare the school round of the Geography Olympiad - participate in the management of a Geography collection and the running of a subject department
