Prerequisites
Interest in little bit abstract Geography.
Interest in the topic, that is more general than narrow view on the Landscape.
It is advisable to have passed the course "Landscape Ecology", but it is not necessary however.
Course Enrolment Limitations
The course is only offered to the students of the study fields the course is directly associated with.

The capacity limit for the course is 20 student(s).
Current registration and enrolment status: enrolled: 2/20, only registered: 0/20
fields of study / plans the course is directly associated with
Course objectives
Main objectives of this course can be summarized as follows:
• to offer to students complex understanding of the Landscape.
• to offer to students possibility of incorporation of their knowledge in particular geographical disciplines to the Landscape system.
• to present informational and methodological possibilities of such approach.
• Social-geographical problems and history of the Landscape are incorporated to this problematics in necessary extent too.
Learning outcomes
After finishing of this course a student has to be able:

- specify main approaches to Landscape studies,
- explain (in)homogeneity of the Landscape and possible homogeneity of landscape unites,
- characterize selected hierarchies of landscape unites,
- characterize main landscape divisions of the World, of Czechia and selected examples of division of smaller territories,
- explain the question of Geosystems in relation to the Theory of Systems,
- to ascertain what does it mean to define a system on an object under study,
- to explain function of bonds in systems, specifics of variou types of bonds, regulative negative bonds,
- to characterize types of systems,
- to propose aplication of the Graph Theory and Graphs in Landsape function study.
