Syllabus
  • More complicated examples are used to increase the level of earlier knowledges. The independence of the solution of the problem is accented, especially from the didactic point of view and optimization of the solution strategy. Students are led to be able to decide about the correctness of the selected solution strategy and to be able to defend it in the discussion.
  • The selected strategy of the solution is analysed from the point of view of its printed presentation, especially as scientific article. All possibilities of the symbolic algebra are used to reduce the diffculties of preparing scientific article and its changes.
  • Solution of the problem is finished when all basic parts of the article are created, i.e. mathematical terms including labels, tabels and graphs.
  • Student will learn how to prepare scientific documents with the program LaTeX including graphics in the PostScript format and how to produce them with the support of the program Maple or Matlab. However, the steps increasing effectivity of the scientific work and the quality of the final publication will be trained at the same time.
