This course should provide a context and theoretical background for using authentic literature in ELT and promoting extensive reading in their classes. It also aims to examine and try out classroom techniques used with literature and reading in ELT. The course is classroom-oriented, it is based on published materials and it will require the participants to be active in contributing to discussions and having hands-on experience in the sessions.
