Course objectives
The main objectives of the course are the following: to consolidate theoretical knowledge of didactics;
to be able to understand and explain the basic principles and problems of teaching English as a foreign language;
to be able to apply theretical knowledge to practice
Syllabus
  • 1. Maturita - oral exam 2. European Language portfolio 3. Teaching pronunciation on secondary level 4. Songs and music in a communicative classroom 5. Video in the communicative classroom 6. CALL 7. Teaching materials including alternative aids 8. Social interaction 9. Language learning and language acquisition 10. Error correction 11. Testing and evaluation 12. Teaching grammar 13. Classroom management, designing timetable and syllabus
