Course objectives
The student will apply basic alternative teaching methods and their teaching application; the student will be able to understand and explain these methods and interpret their meaning in terms of education of children from socially disadvantaged groups.
Syllabus
  • Characteristics of basic concepts, the definition of alternative and traditional schools. Didactic aims, curriculum design, trends and innovations in education. Definition of modern and postmodern pedagogy. Overview and characteristics of alternative schools. Short development of alternative schools and contemporary concepts. Alternative methods and organizational forms of teaching.
