Course objectives
Course in the "Biology for life and health" files. The course aims to develop the level of knowledge - basic knowledge and skills acquisition (required for the work of teachers in basic education in       learning about nature and society) At the end of this course the student will be able to: 1, thinking about     the transformation of nature in relation to changes in climate and weather. 2, acquisition of professional skills and habits of observation, record changes and work with pupils     in the interior and the school garden (sources of information, activating the means, methods, forms). 3 Use a database to work with pupils in     and the specialized field of work in shaping the concept of teacher education 4 Use knowledge gained to create a positive attitude towards care and   health nature, such as a basic resource for their own health and a healthy society. The program is made in collaboration with the University of     Ljubljana, Slovenia.
Syllabus
  • 1st Phenological observations at the Centre for Education for Sustainable Development and Health University of Masaryk University in Brno as an inspiration   the possibility of using activating methods and resources, including habitat garden in   basic education for learning about nature and society  . 2 Comments on active learning and open learning. 3rd Documentary Educational Resources, materials, teacher-file topics. 4th Cognition-observation of organisms (natural transformations) information sources 5th Abiotic and biotic conditions of life - observations and measurements. 6th International Environmental Education Programme: GLOBE - Phenology. 7th Practical importance of phenological observations of students to understand basic conditions of life, healthy relationship of nature and human health. CR projects and international activities 8th Use of botanical gardens MU for phenological measurements. 9th Establishing, monitoring and evaluation of phenological calendars. 10th Practicing industry-teaching skills, gaining professional habits.
