Course objectives
At the end of this course, students should be able to: (1) understand the basic physiological processes of vascular plants; (2) survey the plant material; (3) prepare and to realise easy experiments to demonstrate particular physiological processes; (5) explain basic plant physiological processes
Syllabus
  • 1. Metabolism of sacharids, amino-acids and proteins. Secundar substances of plant metabolism. 2. Structure and function of plant cells. 3. Water regime of plants 4. Plant nutritions 5. Photosynthesis 6. Respiration processes 7. Transport ans distribution of substances in plant bodies 8. Heterotrophy 9. Plant growth and progress 10. Germination 11. Florescency, dormancy 12. Plant movement 13. Immunity and tolerance of plants to unfavourable environmental conditions
