Course objectives
At the end of the course students be able to:
1. define basic structure of plant cell;
2. identify and name of plant tissue;
3. describe anatomy and morphology of root, stem, leaf, flower, see and fruit;
4. interpret flower formula;
5. prepare and survey plant material.

Syllabus
  • Observations:
  • 1.Structure of plant cell.
  • 2. Plant tissue. Premanent tissue. Conducting tissue, xylem, phloem.
  • 3. Anatomy and morphology of root. Metamorphoses.
  • 4. Anatomy of stalk. Branching, buds. Metamorphoses
  • 5. Anatomy and morphology of leaf. Metamorphoses.
  • 6. Anatomy and morphology of monocotyledonous plant x dicotyledonous plant.
  • 7. Structure of flower. Inflorescence.
  • 8. Structure and morphology of fruit.
  • 9. Preparation of biological materials and methods of observations.
