Course objectives
There is presupposed knowledge of the linguistic disciplines that deal with contemporary language - syntax, stylistics and language analysis of the texts. The students acquire the theoretical information about text linguistics (terminology of the text and textual structure, composition, language means of the textual coherence - reference, conective words).
That theoretical knowledge is language basis for the complex analysis of the text.
After finishing the course student shall be able:
- to make that analysis of the language means of textual coherence;
- to identify the means of the textual coherence in the text.
