Course objectives
The student will gain a basic overview of the structuralist interpretation of the text in the form of encompassing philology, resp. interpretive semantics.
An educational component will expand this view of the texts: an outline of the various possibilities how to further work with the interpretation of the text in the lessons of Czech (not only) primary school.
Learning outcomes
After completing the course, the student will be able to:
- interpret the text in the fundamental mode of encompassing philology;
- identify thematic lines of text (isotopies);
- determine the motives of the text (semic molecules);
- to know the path of the text on which one can follow the meaning of the text;
- to place the interpretation of the text in the appropriate context/discourse;
- to select suitable methods for didactic work with an interpretation of a text in the Czech language for elementary schools;
- to look for other possible ways to grasp the interpretation of the text.
